Abstract: The sudden advent of the COVID-19 pandemic has lead many to revaluate their outlook and approach towards nature and health. The current scenario has truley challenged the preconceived notions of health and what primarily supports one's ability to maintain a steady way of life. Society and its leaders are reassessing established methods and striving to change their way of life. Older patterns that were followed in cultures around the world may provide some insight into deep rooted self practices that support and maintain health.
