1. What is your inspiration to pursue Ayurvedic herbs and supplements
manufacturing?
Healthcare has always been my passion. While working in a pharmaceutical
industry I recognized the dangers of modern drugs which are good for
acute care and for accident care but do not address the root cause. A
chance meeting with Dr Prashant Begewadikar, an Ayurvedic expert,
changed the trajectory of my life. He was able to eliminate my debilitating
migraine headaches through Ayurvedic protocols in few months. I spent a
considerable amount of time learning the basics of Ayurveda from him and
understanding the value of this ancient science. This inspired me and Mr
Hasmukh Parekh, Founder Komal Herbals, Inc., to bring the ancient wisdom
and science of Ayurveda to the USA in 2005.
